Hawaii's Hidden Retreat Space

Changing The Way You Retreat

A Private Eco-Venue on the East Side, Big Island of Hawai‘i

At Kūaloli, we’re reimagining what a retreat can be.

In a time that often values scale, polish, and performance, we offer something different: intimacy, presence, and grounded connection—with the land, the elements, the ocean, sustainable, agricultural and cultural practices and with each other.

Kūaloli is a 3-acre, self-sustaining fruit farm and sanctuary on Hawai‘i’s Puna Coastline. Nestled between jungle and sea, it’s more than a venue—it’s a return to the roots of transformation and harmony.

With sleeping accommodations for up to 12 overnight guests, Kūaloli is designed for intimate, soul-centered gatherings—making it a viable and rewarding option for both seasoned retreat leaders and those hosting for the first time.

On-site immersive experiences mean you don’t need to go far to create something experiential and memorable. Here, participants attune to the rhythms of nature—harvesting fruit, making fresh juices, coconut milk, trying noni, walking barefoot on volcanic soil, and sharing stories under starlit skies.

A More Viable and Nourishing Retreat Model For All

Many leaders feel forced to scale up in order to make retreats profitable. But bigger isn’t always better.

At Kūaloli, we’ve created a model where 12 people total (10 guests, 2 leaders) is not only enough, it’s ideal. The size fosters genuine connection, gives your guests a richer experience, and still leaves room for teacher compensation and keep pricing aligned with the realities of a Island-Based Offerings.

Whether you're hosting your first retreat or leading your hundredth, Kūaloli offers the balance — of soul, structure, and support — that make your offerings unforgettable.
